Celebrating India's 64th Independence Day:
August 15: Teachers, students and parents participated in great numbers on this Sunday to celebrate the 64th Independence Day of India.
The chief guest, Mr. H.S Gopinath, Secretary BJP, Karnataka State hoisted the flag. The program started with the Treamis Parade consisting of International students who displayed multi-culture and diversity in India. This was followed by the performances of the kindergarten students. The atmosphere was enchanted by the school choir singing the song "We Shall Overcome". A beautiful dance was presented by primary students on the songs "Jai Ho" & "Dil Se". High school students Karthik and Surya gave inspiring speeches. With Bharath on drums, Jewel and Mareesh 'Rapped' a musical presentation dedicated to the freedom fighters of India.
The Academic Coordinator Ms. Divya Sharma disclosed during her vote of thanks that the first batch of Treamis students achieved 100% pass in IGCSE exam. The news drew cheers and applause from audience.

Treamis Showcase & Graduation Ceremony:
March 20: Two events - Treamis Showcase, an annual event that exhibits the best of talents displayed by the students during the academic year and the graduation ceremony of the first batch of X grade students were held in the school campus. Popular Kannada film actress, Ms. Anu Prabhakar inaugurated the showcase. IGP and Commissioner of Transport & Road Safety Mr. Bhaskar Rao addressed the graduating students.

Treamis students win interschool quiz competition
March 11: An interschool quiz competition was conducted by the hospital Narayana Hrudalaya on the eve of World Kidney Day. The team from Treamis World school bagged the first prize beating 12 other international schools that participated in the event. Congratulations to Swaroop Bagvatula and Jewel Mahantha of grade 10 for the spectacular performance. They are seen in the picture with Dr. Devi Shetty of Naryana Hrudayalaya.

Dance Competition
February 25: Students grades 1 to 10 participated in the dance competition AKRUTI. The theme for this event was NATURE or PATRIOTISM. The children dressed in their finery danced to may popular tunes such as Jai Ho and Vande Matarem. The prizes were bagged by the grade 2 and grade 8 B students.

Social Service Scheme:
On February 9, the students of grades 4 and 5 visited Sneha Orphanage to share love,care and affection with the orphan children. Treamis children sang and played with Sneha kids. They also help the Sneha kids create works of art.
On February 24, the students of grades 9, 10 and 11 visited a home run for the spastics and physically challenged children as part of the social service program. Treamis students played games with these differently abled children and sang for them. Students contributed clothes and cash collected over a months period.

Academic Fair:
February 19 & 20: Treamis Academic fair was a widespread hit among students and parents alike. The students put up various static and working models displaying the various scientific phenomenon they learnt. On the literary front poems and short stories penned by students both in English, Hindi, and French were displayed in class. Math and Commerce came hand in hand with students even putting up a teller machine in class. Congratulations to all students who enthusiastically participated in all the activities tirelessly and meticulously.

Inter-school Swimming Championship:
February 19, 10: Treamis conducted the first Treamis Inter-School Swimming Championship in its campus. The Olympian Nisha Millet was the Chief Guest. Mr. Dayanada Reddy, Member of Legislative Council, was the Guest of Honour. 160 students from 38 schools participated in the event. The New Cambridge School, RPC Layout, Vijayanagar, won the rolling trophy. Treamis World School was the first runner-up and St. Joseph Indian School the second. Kong and Sandy from Treamis won a record number of prizes. We thank Mr. Piyush Singh and Mr. Rajagopal Reddy for partly sponsoring the event.

The Science Activity:
The students of grade 7-8 had a wonderful exposure to hands on
technology. The students put up static and working models to explain
natural disasters and the plant world. The after effects of a
tornado, the hurricanes and the different types of plants and their
anatomy were explained by students which made learning so easy. Of
course we even had aliens form outer space on a visit to the earth.

Pongal Celebrations:
Jan. 15, 10: Pongal the harvest festival was celebrated with great festivity and
merriment. Surbhi form grade 11 enlightened the audience as to why
this harvest festival is celebrated. The children from the primary
section performed a group dance marking the true spirit of pongal.
Greeshma form grade XI enthralled the audience with a lovely
classical dance performance that left the spectators spell bound and
asking for more. The children came dressed in their traditional
clothes and were treated to tasty hot simmering pongal for lunch.

One Nation Reading Together:
Nov. 27, 09: Books are no doubt the window to the world; they are store houses of knowledge, and the pen is always mightier than the sword. Treamis participated in the 'one nation reading together program' conducted by Scholastics. Head girl Dyuti kicked off the event with an inspirational story, followed by literary head Shivagi along with students from grade 1-11 taking the reading pledge. Students read poems and short stories followed by the whole school with their teachers reading out aloud.

Visit to Fire Station and Technological Museum:
Nov. 21, 09. 'Awesome!!!' Just one word…. the kids from grade 1 to grade 5 used to describe their field trip. The day began with a visit to the fire station located at Residency road, where children were shown a fire drill much to the amusement of the little ones who were thrilled to see water splashing in different direction with the help of specially made pumps. The enthusiastic fire fighters also explained the methods employed to fight different kinds of fire, the precautions one should take in case of a fire, including the safety norms. Most kids were amazed by the big red bikes and trucks that the fire fighters use to extinguish fire.
The next stop was at the world famous Vishweshwaraiah Technological Museum at Kasturba road, Bangalore. Children witnessed the wonders of science which included a tap in air, a stranger shadow in the room, besides various phenomenons in science explaining the speed of light, an interesting range of exhibits that comprises of computational devices, electronics and objects related to telecommunications and aviation. But the best of them all was the 3D show that left the little ones spellbound. The children hopped out of their seat to catch the magic lamps, fairies and elves that popped out of the screen.

Thailand Day at Treamis:
Nov. 20, 09: Values, Discipline, and excellence are inculcated among our students with the help of the school assemblies conducted in the morning. Activities scheduled for the day and perhaps for the week are discussed in these assemblies. These assemblies also are a platform for our students to showcase their talents with the help of a small skit, a presentation, music or drama. They also promote a one nation one world theory with students from different parts of the world joining hand in hand and putting up programs that lead to cultural exchange. Nov. 20 was Thailand Day at Treamis. The morning assembly was conducted by students from Thailand.

Children's Day & Literary Day Celebrations:
November 13th 2009: Children's day and the English literary day were celebrated with great enthusiasm at Treamis. Teachers lined up a variety of programs for the children that included dance, music and a skit. Children had a delicious treat of chocolates and pastries.
The English Literary day was celebrated with great fervor. The day was marked with events such as debates, mock interviews, spell bees, and quiz competitions. It was amazing to see the little ones spell out the difficult words for spell bee with equal ease.
Diwali Celebration:
Every diwali leaves behind an endless trail of air pollution so we at Treamis decided to celebrate diwali in an unconventional way this year. Shritika our cultural head gave us a few insights as to how we can prevent pollution of the environment and celebrate an eco-friendly diwali by giving up on fire crackers that are hazardous to health and also cause noise and air pollution.
The short speech was followed by a rangoli and diya painting competition where in children from the four houses belonging to different classes participated enthusiastically. The best diyas and rangolis were awarded points for the respective houses.
