February 20: Treamis conducted its signature event the 3rd
Inter-School Swimming championship in its Half-Olympic size pool. More than 275 students from over 30 schools and clubs participated in the event. The
guest of honour Mr. Vital Murthy (IAS) inaugurated the event. Indus

International School won the trophy. Sophia High School and New
Cambridge School took 2nd and 3rd places.

Janaury 28: The grand finale of 'Conserve my planet” program was held at BGS National Public School. Treamis was one of the thirteen schools
participated in this event. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Sandeep Vij, Mr. Srinivas Chebbi, Mr. Allan and Dr. Kamala T.N. of Schneider Electric.
Mr Chebbi is now a Treamis PTO member. He has great plans for the Treamis services committee and take the Conserve My Planet Programs forward
individually with the school.

Celebrating Uttarayan & the Kite Festival

Annual Sports Meet

January 28: The community in Electronics City celebrated Uttarayan, the closing of harvest season at the Treamis campus by flying kites and participating in various family events. While father and children flew the kite, mother helped in making it. It was a team effort.

January 27, 28: Treamis students participated in annual sports meet. The competitions were held throughout the week. The grand finale took place on January 27 for preschool and Jan 28 for the rest.

Share-A-Smile Community Service at BOSCO

Music and Dance Festival

December 15: As part of the 'Share-A- Smile' Community Service program, Treamis students visited BOSCO, a home for underprivileged and homeless children. Students spent many hours with the children and learnt about their dismal life on the streets before they found this home. Treamis students distributed stationary and clothes and brought cheer to the children of BOSCO.

students performed music and dance programs for the parents. The
performance was across all the grades. It was also an early Christmas
day at
Treamis.

Field Trip to Hampi, Tungabhadra Dam, Bellary

Tour of Infosys

December 1: Treamis students participated in a 3-day field trip to Hampi and Tungabhadra dam. The trip was both recreational and educational.

November. 26: Treamis Students visited Infosys and understood first hand, the IT operations. They toured the facility, watched the presentation on how the company was formed and grew to a top IT company in the world. Students participated in management games; Lent about career prospects in IT industry. |
One Nation Reading Together

November 25: The One Nation Reading Together was an
exciting event celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students. The
program commenced with the reading of the Pledge followed by students reading
out poems ranging from IF by Rudyard Kipling to Daffodils by William
Wordsworth. Students also read out brief synopsis of evergreen English Classics
such as Alice in Wonderland and Wuthering Heights.

French Day

Field Trip to Navadarshanam

November 18 - The campus turned out be France and the language on the campus was French. Starting on a serious note
with a speech on French Day, the celebrations moved on to a unique display of
the day’s news, in French.

visited Navadarshanam (New Vision), a Trust that investigates ecological
and spiritual alternatives to the modern way of living and thinking.

Eye Camp

October 22: Treamis in association with Narayana Nethralaya (Super specialty Eye Hospital & Post Graduate Institute of Ophthalmology) conducted an Eye check up camp for Treamis students and staff members. Dr Vandana with a team of six other ophthalmologists conducted the eye check up for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Student Council Elections

International English Language Testing System is managed by British Council and Cambridge ESOL. Over 1.4 million candidates take the test each year to start their journeys into International education and employment.
Syed Shahroz Ahmad of Treamis scored over all score of 7.5 which is considered to be on the high band.

APNACOMPLEX TREAMIS PREMIER LEAGUE: Corporate jobs and shrinking open spaces leave very little opportunity for sports for working professionals. This tournament is the perfect excuse to get back into sporting spirit.

August 12: Elections for the student council for the current academic year were conducted on 12th August 2011. Eighteen students contested for the posts of President, Vice president, secretary and joint-secretary.

Electronics City to showcase their talents.
