and library science.
Bill Adams, Head of School, Morgan Park Academy said, "TREAMIS shares the beliefs, values and
the mission on which Morgan Park Academy is based. I am glad that we are associating with TREAMIS to provide a high standard
of education to the students worldwide. Bringing these two schools together will allow us to transcend what MPA has accomplished
in the last 130 years and what TREAMIS is planning to achieve as individual institutions. Together the schools will reinvent
the K-12 education in the context of globalization'.
Quoting Thomas Friedman, the author of 'The World is Flat', who states that "Knowledge of the world is no longer a luxury--it
is a necessity", David Hibbs, Head of Upper School, Morgan Park Academy remarked "It is because the world has changed so dramatically
in recent years that the young people in American schools need to be connected to schools throughout the world. Our relationship
with TREAMIS school in Bangalore benefits students from both schools. We have much to offer to students in India, one of
the fastest growing economies in the world. The students and teachers in India have so much to offer us. Our hope is that
by developing a comprehensive program, we will help students become compassionate, ethical and successful in interacting with
diverse peoples and cultures to create a more humane, sustainable global society."
"By associating with MPA we hope to develop a curriculum that is global in nature and helps students become global citizens.
The children in Bangalore and Chicago will be the true beneficiaries of the alliance between MPA and TREAMIS" said Viney Kaushal,
Chairman of TREAMIS.
