February 5:  World Cancer Day occurs annually in February to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. This year's theme is to provide awareness on cancer to children. Treamis showed support by organizing a charity event for children. Bangalore’s own Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation hosted a free cancer detection camp for all age groups and provided literature and conducted workshops on cancer education..

Treamis arranged a 'Family Carnival' on February 5th & 6th.  The event included fun and games for all ages such as Zorbing, Aquatics, Giant Wheel, computer games, various rides, etc. For the first time in South India, Treamis Carnival showcased an interactive mobile planetarium.  Children gazed at the stars and understood the wonders of the sky.   Many popular celebrities like actress Girija Lokesh attended the event and supporting the cause.
