September 3:  The day dawned bright at Treamis with festivity in the air. Merry voices of children could be heard as the school buses entered the campus. Two events - Teachers' Day and Janmashtami (birth of Krishna) were celebrated on this day. 

Students and Teachers participated in many activities from Musical Chair to Treasure Hunt.  The International students learned about Indian culture first hand by experiencing it.  The most interesting programme of the day was the ‘Matka breaking ‘, a fun filled event organized for the first time at Treamis.  Members of the our teams that competed in this event stood on each other to form a pyramid structure to break the pot filled with colored water which was tied to a bar at 20ft high.    While everyone expected the team ‘Gopas’ composed of Thai students to win the competition, the middle school team ‘Sashayed’ came from the back and won the premium prize – Pizza for the winners.

The students entertained Teachers with great musical and dance performances.
