Elections for the student council for the current academic year were conducted on Aug 12.  Eighteen students contested for four positions - President, Vice President, Secretary and Joint Secretary.

For one week prior to the election, contestants campaigned for elections. They presented their respective agendas in a lively debate that took place on Aug. 10th. Campaigning was stopped right after the debate.  Students and teachers enthusiastically participated in the secret ballot voting.  Students learnt practically the democratic process of electing the office bearers.  

The following students were elected as office bearers and members of the students council.
