15: Teachers, students and parents participated in great numbers on
this Sunday to celebrate the 64th Independence Day of India.
The
chief guest, Mr. H.S Gopinath, Secretary BJP, Karnataka State hoisted
the flag. The program started with the Treamis Parade consisting of
International students who displayed multi-culture and diversity in
India. This was followed by the performances of the kindergarten
students. The atmosphere was enchanted by the school choir singing the
song "We Shall Overcome".
A
beautiful dance was presented by primary students on the songs "Jai Ho"
& "Dil Se". High school students Karthik and Surya gave inspiring
speeches. With Bharath on drums, Jewel and Mareesh 'Rapped' a musical
presentation dedicated to the freedom fighters of India.
The
Academic Coordinator Ms. Divya Sharma disclosed during her vote of
thanks that the first batch of Treamis students achieved 100% pass in
IGCSE exam. The news drew cheers and applause from audience.
