1st Term Educational Field Trips

August 8:  As part of the Academics, Treamis students went on field trips to different locations.

Preschool children visited Butterfly park located inside the Bannerughatta National Park, situated about 22kms south of Bangalore.  The Butterfly Park was set up for appreciation and conservation of butterflies.  It also serves as an active center for environmental education, research and conservation.  Children loved the colourful butterflies.  They came back squealing about the green caterpillars and other insects they saw in the park.

The primary students visited the Bangalore Planetarium.  Students were awe struck seeing the galaxy, constellation pictures and panoramas.  They were able to relate what they saw, to the milky way galaxy and planet concepts taught in class rooms.

The high school students visited Janapada Loka, a museum of folk art of Karnataka.  Spread over fifteen acres of land, Janapada Loka blends nature, folk art and rural outlook of Karnataka. Students danced to the folk music and appreciated pottery making.
