December 1: Treamis students took part in 3-day field trip to Hampi and Tungabhadra dam. Hampi is a historical place that is known to be open museum and dpicts the history of Vijayanagara Empire of 13th-16th centuries. Students visited important monuments and Tungabhadra Dam. On their way, they visited Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary, the first Asian sanctuary meant for sloth bears. Students then visited Tapal steel factory situated in Bellary town. They learnt about thermo-mechanical treatment of steel. Students participated in bonfire party and celebrated the birthdays of few fellow class/schoolmates.
The trip was both educational and recreational.
