Built
in a peaceful setting within the school grounds, yet only a stone’s
throw from the school’s central facilities, the self- contained,
purpose-built residence halls provide a wonderful opportunity for
Treamis students to experience a greater degree of independence and
privacy.
Residence
halls are available to both weekly and full-time boarders. Weekly
boarders stay in the residence halls from Monday through Friday and
return home on weekends. Full-time boarders reside on campus for full
semesters and return home during winter and summer breaks.
Starting
from grade 3, students are eligible to live on campus. Treamis
encourages local students, grades 9 and above, to stay in the residence
hall as weekly boarders.
Residence halls have double and quadruple bed rooms. Boys and girls are housed in separate buildings.
The
residence halls are modern, comfortable places for students to study,
socialize and relax. As adult mentors, the residence hall staff provide
the daily support needed to meet academic, emotional and social needs of
the students.

Life in Residence Halls
The residence hall students follow a fixed schedule on weekdays. The day starts with an early morning workout that may involve jogging, walking, aerobics, stretching and yoga, followed by breakfast. After school hours, the students take part in outdoor sports activity followed by tutoring session and study time.
Play time and outdoor sports include lawn and table tennis, carom, basketball, cricket, volleyball and soccer. Students will also have some leisure time daily to watch news, read books or attend other personal chores.
On weekends, in addition to the regular study hours, students spend time on entertainment, swimming, and developing hobbies.
Once a month, students may be taken out of the campus for shopping and entertainment. On a long weekend, students may go for a full day outgoing/picnic. Participating in these activities are optional. Students participate in various festivals from around the world. The residence hall activities are also open to day school students.
Depending
on the availability and the interest of House parents and volunteers,
students may be escorted to participate in religious services held
outside the campus such as church or temple during religious holidays.
Local guardian can also take the student to these events. Within the residence hall premises, the
students
can always practice their religion.
